Polar Squid Trolling Fly- ROYAL BLUE/TURQUOISE

Unlike other baitifsh, squids perform and exhibit an unique swimming action in the water column that absolutely drives predatory fish bonkers. The polar squid trolling fly in "royal blue/turquoise combination exhibits high performance movement.  Tentacles are composed of turquoise ostrich, blue and pearl segmented Lateral scale flash, silver doctor blue grizzly feathers, and other natural materials. A specalized hologrpahic tubing and 15mm Fish Skull eyes add realism and detail to the pattern. The holograpic tubing is custom colored to match the coloration of the alewife or herring color scheme. Tied on a tube to maximize durablilty and versatilty, the stinger hook slides up the main trolling leader after strike impact, thus resulting in maximum life history of the fly compared to traditional trolling flies tied on hooks that last only a few hook ups before they are completely destroyed. Comes pre-rigged with snelled Gamakatsu octopus hook to a 40 or 50-pound flurocarbon leader.
